Star Wrestler Carter Starocci Ruled Ineligible for NCAA Championships Due to Academic Issues

University Park, PA – In a shocking blow to the Penn State wrestling team, star wrestler Carter Starocci has been ruled ineligible for the NCAA Championships due to academic issues.
According to sources, Starocci fell short of meeting the NCAA’s minimum academic requirements, rendering him ineligible for postseason competition.
“We’re extremely disappointed for Carter and the team,” said Penn State wrestling coach Cael Sanderson. “Carter has been an incredible wrestler and leader for our program, and we’ll miss him greatly.”
Starocci, a four-time NCAA champion and one of the most dominant wrestlers in the country, was expected to contend for his fifth national title. His absence will significantly impact Penn State’s chances of winning a team title.
The NCAA Championships are set to begin on Thursday, and Penn State will have to adjust its lineup accordingly.
