Nittany Lions Unstoppable: Penn State Extends Winning Streak to 75 Dual Meets
Penn State wrestling continued its dominance on the mat, extending its winning streak to 75 dual meets with a 31-10 victory over Ohio State. The Nittany Lions have not lost a dual meet since February 2015, and their current streak is the longest active streak in the nation.
Coach Cael Sanderson praised his team’s effort, saying, “I’m proud of our guys for their focus and intensity. We had some great performances tonight, and it was a total team effort.”
The Nittany Lions were led by standout performances from Aaron Brooks, Carter Starocci, and Greg Kerkvliet, who all scored major decisions. The win marked Penn State’s 10th consecutive victory over Ohio State.
With the win, Penn State improves to 14-0 on the season and solidifies its position as the top-ranked team in the country.
