
NITTANY LIONS DOMINATE AT BIG TENS, PENN STATE WRESTLING WINS 8TH CONFERENCE TITLE IN 9 YEARS….

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team has continued its dominance in the Big Ten Conference, winning its 8th conference title in 9 years. The team scored 157.5 points, outpacing second-place Ohio State by 24.5 points.
The Nittany Lions crowned six individual champions: Roman Bravo-Young (133 pounds), Nick Lee (141 pounds), Carter Starocci (174 pounds), Aaron Brooks (184 pounds), Max Dean (197 pounds), and Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds).
“I’m incredibly proud of this team and what they’ve accomplished,” said head coach Cael Sanderson. “We’ve had a great season so far, and this conference title is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our wrestlers.”
The Big Ten Conference title is the latest in a long string of accomplishments for the Penn State wrestling program, which has established itself as one of the most dominant programs in the country.
