A former Penn State quarterback has expressed his disappointment and frustration with the university’s decision to sell the naming rights to Beaver Stadium. The legendary quarterback, who led the Nittany Lions to several victories in the iconic stadium, feels that the deal compromises the tradition and history of the venue.
“I understand the need for revenue, but Beaver Stadium is more than just a stadium – it’s a symbol of Penn State pride and tradition,” the quarterback said. “I think it’s a shame that the university would consider selling out to a corporate sponsor.”
