*Penn State Wrestling Signee Wins Fourth State Title*

Albany, NY – PJ Duke, a Penn State wrestling commit, made history by winning his fourth NYSPHSAA state title. Duke, a senior at Hauppauge High School, defeated Casey Liess by technical fall to claim the championship.

 

*Duke’s Reaction:*

 

“It’s an incredible feeling to win my fourth state title,” said Duke. “I’m grateful for my coaches, teammates, and family for their support. I’m excited to join the Penn State wrestling family and contribute to the team’s success.”

 

*Coach Cael Sanderson’s Reaction:*

 

“PJ is an exceptional wrestler with a bright future ahead of him,” said Sanderson. “We’re thrilled to have him join our program and look forward to seeing him compete at the next level.”

– 4x NYSPHSAA state champion (2020-2023)

– 3x NHSCA All-American (2020-2022)

– Ranked #1 in the country at 145 pounds by FloWrestling
