*Cael Sanderson Named Coach of the Year: Penn State Wrestling Coach Honored for Sixth Time*

University Park, PA – Penn State wrestling coach Cael Sanderson has been named the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Coach of the Year for the sixth time in his career.

“I’m humbled and honored to receive this award,” said Sanderson. “It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire program, from our wrestlers to our coaching staff to our support staff.”

Under Sanderson’s guidance, Penn State has become one of the most dominant programs in college wrestling. The Nittany Lions have won nine national championships, 13 Big Ten championships, and have produced 32 individual national champions during Sanderson’s tenure.
