Aaron Brooks Wins Third NCAA Individual Title, Capping Off Undefeated Season
St. Louis, MO – Penn State wrestler Aaron Brooks cemented his status as one of the greatest collegiate wrestlers of all time on March 23, 2025, by winning his third NCAA individual title. Brooks, competing at 184 pounds, defeated Iowa’s Abe Assad 10-2 in the championship match to cap off an undefeated season.

Brooks, a senior from Hagerstown, Maryland, was unstoppable throughout the NCAA tournament, winning all five of his matches by bonus points. He became the 12th wrestler in Penn State history to win three NCAA individual titles.
