Penn State Wrestling’s Recruiting Class: Who Are the Future Stars?

University Park, PA – Penn State wrestling’s recruiting class has been making headlines, with several top-ranked wrestlers committing to join the Nittany Lions. The class is highlighted by a pair of top-10 recruits, including No. 2-ranked Shane Hanson and No. 8-ranked Ryder Rogotzke.

 

Hanson, a 145-pounder from Illinois, is a three-time state champion and a two-time Fargo national champion. Rogotzke, a 152-pounder from Minnesota, is a two-time state champion and a Fargo national champion.

 

Other top recruits in the class include:

 

– *Aidan Riggins*, a 132-pounder from Pennsylvania, who is a two-time state champion and a Fargo All-American.

– *Kael Lauridsen*, a 160-pounder from Iowa, who is a two-time state champion and a Fargo national champion.

– *Gavin Stika*, a 220-pounder from Illinois, who is a two-time state champion and a Fargo All-American.

 

“This recruiting class is one of the best we’ve had in a while,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “We’re excited to see these young men develop and contribute to our program.”

 

The future looks bright for Penn State wrestling, with this talented recruiting class set to join the team next season.
