Cael Sanderson’s Squad Rolls On: Penn State Extends Dual Meet Win Streak to 50

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team continued their dominance on the mat, extending their dual meet win streak to 50 with a convincing 31-10 victory over Michigan State.

The Nittany Lions, led by head coach Cael Sanderson, have not lost a dual meet since February 2015. The streak is the longest active dual meet win streak in the country.

Penn State’s win was highlighted by victories from Roman Bravo-Young (133 pounds), Nick Lee (141 pounds), and Carter Starocci (174 pounds), all of whom are ranked in the top five nationally in their respective weight classes.

“This team has shown incredible heart and determination,” Sanderson said. “We’re proud of the streak, but we know we have to stay focused and keep working hard.”
