Nittany Lions Roar: PennState Wins 10th NCAA Wrestling Title in 12 Years

St. Louis, MO – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team made history on Saturday, winning their 10th NCAA team title in the last 12 years.

The Nittany Lions racked up 137.5 points, outpacing second-place Iowa by 25 points. Penn State’s dominance was on full display, with five wrestlers earning All-American honors.

Carter Starocci (174 pounds) and Aaron Brooks (184 pounds) led the way for Penn State, each winning individual national titles. Roman Bravo-Young (133 pounds), Nick Lee (141 pounds), and Max Dean (197 pounds) also earned podium finishes.

“This team has shown incredible resilience and determination all season,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “I’m so proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication.”

The Nittany Lions’ 10th title in 12 years solidifies their position as one of the greatest dynasties in college wrestling history.
