Penn State Dominates Big Ten Championships, Crowns 5 Individual Champs…

Penn State’s wrestling team continued its dominance at the Big Ten Championships, winning its seventh team title under head coach Cael Sanderson. The Nittany Lions crowned five individual champions and racked up 147.5 points, solidifying their position as one of the top programs in the country.

Roman Bravo-Young (133 pounds), Nick Lee (141 pounds), Carter Starocci (174 pounds), Aaron Brooks (184 pounds), and Max Dean (197 pounds) all took home individual titles, with Bravo-Young and Starocci earning their third consecutive conference championships.

The Nittany Lions’ performance marked their 10th Big Ten title in the last 12 years, showcasing the program’s consistency and excellence. Sanderson praised his team’s effort, saying, “This team has shown incredible heart and determination all season. I’m proud of each and every one of them for their hard work and dedication.”

Penn State will look to carry its momentum into the NCAA Championships, where they will seek to add to their impressive collection of national titles.
