UNDEFEATED AND UNSTOPPABLE: Penn State’s Starocci, Kerkvliet, and Bartlett Remain Undefeated
University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team boasts three undefeated wrestlers, with Carter Starocci (184 pounds), Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds), and Beau Bartlett (141 pounds) continuing their dominance on the mat.
Starocci, a junior, remains undefeated at 184 pounds, with a perfect 20-0 record. Kerkvliet, a sophomore, continues to dominate at 285 pounds, with a 20-0 record. Bartlett, a junior, boasts a 19-0 record at 141 pounds.
Their unbeaten streaks are a testament to their exceptional skill, technique, and dedication to the sport. “These guys are leaders on our team and have set the tone for our success,” said Penn State coach Cael Sanderson.
The trio’s dominance has been a key factor in Penn State’s success, with the team boasting a 15-0 dual meet record. As the season draws to a close, the Nittany Lions will look to maintain their momentum, taking on tough opponents in the Big Ten championships and the NCAA championships.
