NITTANY LIONS ROLL TO NATIONAL TITLE: Penn State Wrestling Wins Eighth Title in Nine Years
University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team has made history, winning its eighth national title in nine years. The team dominated the competition at the NCAA championships, crowning three individual national champions and scoring a total of 137.5 points.
Led by coach Cael Sanderson, the Nittany Lions were unstoppable, with *Carter Starocci* (184 pounds), *Greg Kerkvliet* (285 pounds), and *Beau Bartlett* (141 pounds) all winning individual national titles.
“This team has worked incredibly hard, and it’s amazing to see their dedication pay off,” said Sanderson. “We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished, and we’re already looking forward to next season.”
