PENN STATE WRESTLING CONTINUES DOMINANCE BEHIND STAROCOCI, KERKVLIET, AND BARTLETT

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team has continued its impressive run, with three wrestlers leading the way. Carter Starocci (184 pounds), Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds), and Beau Bartlett (141 pounds) have all been instrumental in the team’s success, with each wrestler boasting an impressive record.

Starocci, a junior, remains undefeated at 184 pounds, with a convincing win over Iowa’s Angelo Ferrari. Kerkvliet, a sophomore, continues to dominate at 285 pounds, with a perfect 15-0 record. Bartlett, a junior, moved up to No. 1 at 141 pounds after beating Ohio State’s Jesse Mendez 4-2.

The trio’s exceptional performances have been a key factor in Penn State’s success, with the team boasting a 15-0 dual meet record. “These wrestlers have demonstrated exceptional skill and dedication, and their hard work is paying off,” said Penn State coach Cael Sanderson.

As the season draws to a close, Penn State will look to maintain its momentum, taking on tough opponents in the Big Ten championships. The team’s success will depend on the continued strong performances of Starocci, Kerkvliet, and Bartlett.
