_MESENBRINK’S DOMINANT TECH-FALL OVER OHIO STATE’S HERMAN_
University Park, PA – Penn State wrestler Mitchell Mesenbrink recorded a dominant technical fall victory over Ohio State’s Brock Herman in the 165-pound weight class.
Mesenbrink, ranked No. 10 nationally, controlled the match from start to finish, earning a 20-5 technical fall win. The victory was part of Penn State’s 30-8 dual meet win over the Buckeyes.
“Mitchell’s performance was impressive,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “He’s been working hard to improve his technique, and it’s paying off.”
Mesenbrink’s win improved his season record to 14-4, with 6 bonus-point victories.
