University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team dominated the Ohio State Buckeyes 30-8 in a Big Ten dual meet.
Penn State won eight of the 10 bouts, with five wrestlers recording bonus-point wins. No. 1 Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), No. 1 Carter Starocci (174 pounds), and No. 1 Aaron Brooks (197 pounds) all recorded major decisions, while No. 1 Levi Haines (157 pounds) earned a technical fall.
“We had a solid performance tonight,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “Our guys are competing at a high level, and it’s exciting to see.”
The win improves Penn State’s dual meet record to 9-0, while Ohio State falls to 7-3.
