
PENN STATE WRESTLING COMPLETES 5TH STRAIGHT UNDEFEATED SEASON

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team made history by completing their fifth consecutive undefeated season. With a 71st straight dual meet win, Penn State solidified their dominance in the sport.
“We’re incredibly proud of our team’s accomplishment,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “Our guys have worked tirelessly to achieve this goal, and it’s a testament to their dedication and hard work.”
Penn State’s undefeated season was highlighted by dominant wins over top-ranked teams, including Iowa, Ohio State, and Michigan. The Nittany Lions also crowned several individual champions throughout the season, including No. 1 Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), No. 1 Carter Starocci (174 pounds), and No. 1 Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds).
“We’re excited to see what the future holds for our team,” Sanderson said. “We’re looking forward to the NCAA Championships and the opportunity to compete for a national title.”
