
PENN STATE WRESTLING REMAINS UNDEFEATED WITH 25-10 WIN OVER MICHIGAN

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team remained undefeated with a 25-10 win over the Michigan Wolverines in a Big Ten dual meet.
Penn State won seven of the 10 bouts, with four wrestlers recording bonus-point wins. No. 1 Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), No. 1 Carter Starocci (174 pounds), and No. 1 Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds) all recorded major decisions, while No. 1 Levi Haines (157 pounds) earned a technical fall.
“We’re pleased with the win, but we know we can improve,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “Our guys are competing at a high level, and we’re excited to see where this season takes us.”
