Penn State wrestling achieved its fifth consecutive undefeated season, securing its 71st straight dual meet victory with a 29-9 win over Illinois on February 16, 2025.

This victory also marked their fifth straight Big Ten regular-season title. The Nittany Lions are now just five wins away from tying the all-time NCAA record for consecutive dual meet victories, held by Oklahoma State.
