**Former Penn State QB Trace McSorley Joins Coaching Staff**

Former Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley has returned to Happy Valley, but this time in a new role. The Nittany Lions have announced that McSorley, who led the team to multiple victories during his time as quarterback, has officially joined the coaching staff.

McSorley, who played for Penn State from 2014 to 2018, is best remembered for his leadership on the field, helping guide the team to a Big Ten Championship in 2016 and earning several accolades, including All-Big Ten honors. His ability to perform in clutch moments and his resilience made him one of the most beloved players in Penn State football history.

Following his time at Penn State, McSorley went on to play in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens and later the Arizona Cardinals. His professional career included several noteworthy performances, but his deep connection with Penn State remained a focal point, and he has expressed his excitement about returning to his alma mater.

“I am beyond thrilled to return to Penn State and be a part of the team in a new capacity,” McSorley said in a statement. “I’ve learned so much throughout my career, and I’m excited to pass on that knowledge and help develop the next generation of Nittany Lions.”

The addition of McSorley to the coaching staff is seen as a valuable move for Penn State, especially with his firsthand experience and understanding of the program’s culture and expectations. The Nittany Lions are looking to build on their recent successes, and McSorley’s role is expected to bring a fresh perspective to both coaching and mentoring young quarterbacks.

Head coach James Franklin welcomed McSorley’s return, stating, “Trace is a Penn State legend, and his passion for this program is unmatched. We’re excited to have him back, and we know his experience will help elevate the team as we continue to strive for excellence.”

McSorley will reportedly work closely with the quarterbacks, drawing from his vast playing experience to provide guidance and insight as the team looks ahead to the upcoming seasons. Fans are excited about the former star’s return, and it’s clear that his legacy in Happy Valley is far from over.
