_PENN STATE WRESTLING ROLLS OVER OHIO STATE 27-13_

University Park, PA – The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team dominated the Ohio State Buckeyes 27-13 in a Big Ten dual meet.
Penn State won seven of the 10 bouts, with five wrestlers recording bonus-point wins. No. 1 Beau Bartlett (141 pounds), No. 1 Carter Starocci (174 pounds), and No. 1 Greg Kerkvliet (285 pounds) all recorded major decisions, while No. 1 Levi Haines (157 pounds) and No. 2 Shayne Van Ness (149 pounds) earned technical falls.
“We wrestled well, but we can still improve,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “Our guys are competing at a high level, and we’re excited to see where this season takes us.”
The win improves Penn State’s dual meet record to 15-0, while Ohio State falls to 8-4.
