
_PENN STATE WRESTLING’S CARTER STAROCCI WINS 4TH NCAA TITLE, LEADS NITTANY LIONS TO TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP_

University Park, PA – Penn State wrestler Carter Starocci made history on Saturday night, winning his fourth NCAA title at 174 pounds. Starocci, a senior from Erie, Pennsylvania, defeated Iowa’s Michael Kemerer 8-2 in the championship match.
With his fourth title, Starocci solidified his legacy as one of the greatest wrestlers in Penn State history. He joins an elite group of four-time NCAA champions, including Penn State legend Ed Ruth.
“Carter is an incredible wrestler and an even better person,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “He’s worked tirelessly to achieve his goals, and it’s amazing to see him reach this milestone.”
