Penn State wrestling showcased exceptional dominance at the 2024 Big Ten Championships, clinching their eighth title under head coach Cael Sanderson. The Nittany Lions amassed a record-breaking 170.5 points, outpacing second-place Michigan by 47 points. Five wrestlers secured individual titles: Braeden Davis (125 lbs), Levi Haines (157 lbs), Mitchell Mesenbrink (165 lbs), Aaron Brooks (197 lbs), and Greg Kerkvliet (285 lbs). Brooks was honored as both Wrestler of the Year and Most Outstanding Wrestler of the Championships, while Mesenbrink received Freshman of the Year accolades. Sanderson was named Coach of the Year for the eighth time.
