**More Is Coming: Penn State Wrestling Signs No. 1 Recruit PJ Duke**

Penn State Wrestling has secured a major victory on the recruiting front, as it officially signed PJ Duke, the nation’s top recruit for the Class of 2025. The announcement adds to an already impressive future for the Nittany Lions wrestling program, which continues to dominate the recruiting landscape.

Duke, a standout from Minisink Valley High School in New York, is widely regarded as one of the best high school wrestlers in the country. With a stellar career that includes three New York state championships and multiple accolades on the national stage, Duke has proven his elite talent. He is a two-time U.S. World Team member and was recently named Outstanding Wrestler at the prestigious Bill Farrell Tournament, where he clinched the 70-kilogram title.

The signing of Duke is a key piece of Penn State’s efforts to build a powerhouse for the future. In addition to the No. 1 recruit, the Nittany Lions have secured commitments from several top-tier prospects, including Marcus Blaze, the top-ranked wrestler on MatScouts’ 2025 Big Board, and others such as William Henckel, Asher Cunningham, Nate Desmond, and Dalton Perry.
