**Breaking News: Ohio State Hires Former Penn State Assistant Coach Tyler Bowen**

  

Ohio State University has reportedly hired Tyler Bowen, a former assistant coach at Penn State, as its new offensive line coach. Bowen, who has an extensive background in offensive coaching, joins the Buckeyes following the departure of Justin Frye, who recently accepted a position with the Arizona Cardinals.

 

Bowen’s coaching career spans multiple top-tier programs. He began his career at Maryland and Towson before making a name for himself at Penn State, where he served in various roles including tight ends coach, offensive recruiting coordinator, and co-offensive coordinator. He also had a stint as the interim offensive coordinator in 2019. Bowen further honed his skills at Virginia Tech, where he served as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach in 2023–2024.

 

Ohio State is looking to capitalize on Bowen’s broad experience to strengthen its offensive line. His hiring brings a fresh perspective to the team as they aim for continued success in the upcoming seasons.
