Chelsea agree personal terms with midfield sensation as exit for £42m player is sealed
Chelsea have agreed to loan midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka to Borussia Dortmund for the remainder of the season. The deal includes an option for Dortmund to purchase the 21-year-old for over £40 million. Chukwuemeka, who has seen limited playing time at Chelsea this season, is scheduled for a medical examination on Monday. In a related move, Chelsea have agreed to sign 19-year-old Saint Etienne midfielder Mathis Amougou for over £10 million. Upon completion, Amougou will be immediately loaned out to RC Strasbourg, a club under Todd Boehly’s BlueCo ownership. Amougou has made 19 appearances for Saint Etienne and has been capped seven times by France’s Under-19 team.
