The Dallas Cowboys had an early bye week this season, offering the team a chance to rest, recover, and gear up for the remaining 11 weeks of the NFL regular season.

Quarterback Dak Prescott, however, used the break for something extra special. On October 18, he announced his engagement to girlfriend Sarah Jane through a series of photos on social media. The proposal took place during a round of golf and included a heartfelt touch: a shirt worn by their daughter that read, “Hi Mommy, Daddy has a question for you.”

The photo series wrapped up with images of the trio celebrating the engagement over sushi. The comment section quickly filled with congratulations from current and former teammates, as well as players from around the league.
