breaking news: the CEO of Chicago bear call for emergency meeting due to…

The Chicago Bears CEO, Kevin Warren, recently called an emergency meeting following the firing of head coach Matt Eberflus after another disappointing season. This marks the first time in the franchise’s 105-year history that a head coach was dismissed midseason. Eberflus, hired in 2022, was let go after accumulating a poor record of 14-32, including numerous high-profile missteps both on and off the field.

The decision comes after a sixth consecutive loss, highlighted by a critical clock management error in a game against the Detroit Lions. Thomas Brown, the team’s offensive coordinator, has been appointed interim head coach for the remainder of the season. This move is part of a broader effort to revamp leadership and address ongoing struggles to achieve competitiveness in the league.
