Done: All-America voters finally give Jalon Walker the recognition he merits….
It is about time Georgia football finally received some respect in the All-America teams.
The disrespect has mainly surrounded linebacker Jalon Walker, who was crowned the winner of the 2024 Butkus Award which goes to the nation’s best linebacker. But he somehow was not a first team All-SEC selection and was even put on the All-America third team by the Associated Press.
But it’s the coaches All-America teams that finally gave Walker, as well as two other Bulldogs, the credit they deserved as three players were named to the Coaches’ All-America first team.
