The Chicago Bears have made a surprise move by signing veteran quarterback Nathan Peterman. This isn’t Peterman’s first stint with the Bears, though – he previously signed a one-year contract with the team in 2023 ¹.
Peterman has had a journeyman career, playing for the Buffalo Bills, Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders, and now the Bears. He was drafted by the Bills in the fifth round of the 2017 NFL draft ².
In his previous time with the Bears, Peterman appeared in three games with one start, completing 14 of 25 passes for 139 yards with one touchdown, one interception, and a 68.6 passer rating ¹.
