University Park, PA – The Penn State wrestling program has been dealt a devastating blow with the news that star wrestler, Nick Lee, has been forced to retire from competition due to a career-ending injury.
Lee, a three-time NCAA All-American and two-time Big Ten champion, suffered a severe knee injury during a recent practice session. Despite undergoing surgery and rehabilitation, Lee’s medical team has determined that he will not be able to continue competing at the collegiate level.
The news has sent shockwaves through the Penn State wrestling community, with teammates, coaches, and fans alike expressing their sadness and support for Lee.
