
Penn State Wrestlers Carter Starocci and Aaron Brooks Named Preseason All-Americans..

Penn State wrestling standouts Carter Starocci and Aaron Brooks have been named preseason All-Americans by multiple publications, including FloWrestling, InterMat, and Wrestling Insider Newsmagazine.
Starocci, a senior and four-time NCAA champion, is ranked as the top wrestler at 184 pounds. He’s coming off a dominant season in which he won his fourth consecutive NCAA title.
Brooks, a senior and three-time NCAA champion, is ranked as the top wrestler at 174 pounds. He’s looking to win his fourth NCAA title and help lead the Nittany Lions to another team championship.
Both Starocci and Brooks are expected to play key roles for Penn State this season, which begins in November. The Nittany Lions are seeking their fifth consecutive NCAA team title.
“We’re excited to get the season started,” said Penn State head coach Cael Sanderson. “Carter and Aaron are two of our leaders, and we’re counting on them to help us achieve our goals.”
